LIVING ROOM TOUR
Dear friends and music-lovers,
Are you tired of the same old programs on TV? Are you sick of having to do the washing up? Has your love life dried up? Well, I can't help you with any of that but... to help you take your mind off the trials of everyday life we're organising a series of events around the UK.
Wax & Seal, my debut album, is to be released in the UK in May. So I'm going on the road around England, Scotland and Wales. However, this is a tour with a difference because, unlike regular tours, I'll be playing not in the Uni Hall but in your living rooms and strange spaces across the land. There will be no crush barriers. There will be no glaring heavy-set bouncers itching for a scrap. This is the refined, debonair "Front of your Face" Tour.
To host a gig in your home/den/gallery/wine-bar/crypt, contact us at the address below. We'll provide you with all the details you need later, but read on for a rough sketch of the evening.
You provide...
A date - from mid-May onwards.
The space, cushions and chairs.
Friends/acquaintances who like special performances in intimate surroundings.
You pick a day - from the second week in May onwards.
I provide...
A two hour show.
Entry fee will be negotiable.
There will also be a mailing list and CDs for sale.
We decide...
On how public/private the gig will be. The gig can be totally private (if you can fill a space with your own friends and family) or it can be a mixture of your friends and, with your permission, members of my mailing list. We will only list the area of the gig on the website and on our mailing list. If our mailing list members are interested in attending then, with your permission and capacity allowing, they will be given the address and door time.
We both send out the invitations.
